I had always envisioned studying abroad. As a young woman with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, I applied to several British universities for a taught course in Linguistics and Translation. When acceptance letters from three prestigious institutions—Leeds, Aston, and Bangor—arrived, I was overwhelmed with excitement and indecision. Despite the immense joy of having these options, I felt increasingly confused. Each path seemed equally promising, yet the weight of the decision left me feeling paralyzed.

One evening, as I sat in my favorite coffee shop, lost in thought, I overheard a conversation at the next table. A group of young professionals were discussing their careers, sharing stories of challenges and triumphs. One woman's words resonated with me: "Sometimes, you have to take a step back and focus on what you're passionate about right now. The rest will fall into place." Inspired by this wisdom, I realized that perhaps the timing wasn’t right for me to embark on my academic journey. With newfound clarity, I decided to put my studies on hold and accept a job offer.
